How do you maintain your own emotional well-being and continue growing as a therapist?

It is very important to me that I do my own deep and long-term work on myself, both inside and outside of therapy. I strive to take my own advice, slow down, advocate for myself, and mindfully build the life that I want to be living. I make a lot of space in my life to spend time with the people that I love, including my wife, my son, our pets, and friends and family. I also am a lifelong learner, and am always looking for new books, trainings, or consultation groups to stretch my skills and learn new things!
